Noticeboard

Local residents and patients are invited to a drop-in public engagement event where proposals for a new medical centre to accommodate the practice will be presented. The event will give those attending the opportunity to view and comment on the proposals prior to a submission of a planning application. Drop-in at the event anytime between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday 26 February, at Admaston House Community Centre, Wellington Road, Admaston TF5 0BN. For more details click here.

Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes and carry out cervical smears.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
